There is no doubt that this is a very nice bag. It appears to be good quality. However, it is a bit large for a 10.5" netbook. Keep that in mind if you are looking for something small to carry your netbook in. However because it is a messanger bag it would probably work well to carry the netbook and accessaries as well as your Kindle, iPod and probably a wallet.

I wanted a better and safer way to carry my Kindle DX. The padded cover was simply not enough protection. My first DX was damaged while inside the tight fitting zipper case. I drop the Kindle DX inside this mini-messenger and I don't worry. The other benefit is that all of my Kindle accessories, my cell phone, and sunglasses and lots of other personal stuff can be carried as well. This bag was the perfect choice for my Kindle DX.

After reading the reviews and checking out all the options I could find I decided this bag best suited my needs. I have been a computer tech for the past 12 years and hate hauling around more than I need. I have web sites that I run as well as doing your average home office and IT consulting work. I wanted a bag to replace my backpack and I wanted it to be able to carry two laptops if I wanted to work on websites while I was using my other system to clone a drive or be able to switch from Mac to PC. I don't normally need two laptops but I wanted the option to carry both. The main compartment is split in two with my MacBook in front and my 11.6" Toshiba netbook in the rear. The MacBook will only easily fit in the front of the main compartment and it does not strap in but is snug enough that you don't worry about it. If you have a typical Blackberry phone you will need to use the small front pouch as the side phone pouch only holds a standard size mobile phone well. I still have my backpack in the trunk with all the stuff I used to haul around but I only carry this small bag into most of the locations I go to. If you are a big city dweller using public transportation or bicycle this bag would be ideal. Please read the other reviews for details on info how the other pockets work. For myself I found them well designed for everything I need to have on site 90% of the time. What I am also finding out that keeping both laptops together allows for easy charging of both at night side by side. For someone who wants to carry just one laptop please take into consideration that you lose book and magazine space with this bag but I can easily carry an average sized book, newspaper or magazine (sometimes folded) and my netbook.

I love this bag. It is compact yet has room for my net book and all the accessories to carry with it. It's just what I was looking for to travel.

I used the main compartment of this bag one time and the zipper pull came off in my hand. It wasn't overstuffed so I'm thinking it is a quality control issue. I hope it isn't a glimpse of whats to come. I'm returning the bag for an exchange to an identical item and hope it isn't a mistake. For the price of this bag it should be constructed of better quality materials and inspected much better for flaws before shipping to the consumer. I now have to wait for the defective one to show up at Amazon before my new one is shipped back out to me. I need a bag for my netbook now and I've already waited for the defective one for well over a week. Now I have return shipping and another wait for the replacement product. Buyer beware there may be some quality issues.

I've purchased a book that downloaded through Kindle on my laptop. You can't highlight, you can't place bookmark, the interface does not have a page number. it is impossible to properly quote the book, since there are no pages. Lack of highlighting forces me to re-read text multiple times, trying to locate what's needed. Perhaps the physical version of Kindle is better - that i can't judge, but the PC version lacks some BASIC functionality. Well, to be correct, it has NONE. It would have been better to provide the copy in ADOBE-friendly format, at least there I would've been able to highlight and locate pages :(

I purchased a Kindle 2 for myself for X-Mas--and as time has gone by I have used it less and less. The problem isn't that I don't like it (I love it). The problem is my husband. He has somehow taken over ownership of the Kindle. Each night he & I have a discussion about who gets to use it before bed. Since I usually have a pile of magazines to go thru, guess who gets it? Last night, I purchased another Kindle 2 (for my husband).

I bought several Kindles as gifts for my family for Christmas. As much as I wanted a Kindle for myself, I purposely waited until the information on the new Apple reader, iPad, was published. After reading iPad's capability and its size, I decided to order a Kindle for myself. The iPad may give Kindle DX a run but I like my Kindle's pocketbook size better than what Apple has to offer. I'd like to see the next Kindle to have the touchscreen technology in turning the pages instead of clicking a button, however. hint, hint to Mr Jeff Bezos... ;-)

I love my Kindle. It is everything I thought it would be and more. Love that I can read a sample of the book before I buy it. Love that I can download so many different books. Love the fact I can change the font, keep notes and clippings and that I can archive my books. Love that my new books is downloaded within 60 seconds. I love how the books costs so much less.

I've followed this product for 3 years before buying one and its everything I had hoped for. Easy to use...easy to read and more enjoyable reading since I can bump-up the font size.

Overall I am very statisfied with this bag. As the other reviews said the grey color is much lighter then pictured but I don't think it looks bad, the color of my laptop is promise pink and it matches almost perfectly. My laptop seems to be well protected and there is space to store smaller items (pens, calculator, etc.). The only thing I don't really like is I have a dell inspiron 17-1764 (17.3" screen) and it is a snug fit.

I bought this bag for my 17" HP Pavilion Enertainment PC dv7, which fits like a glove. I wanted something not so "business" looking & this one fit the bill. The price was also a huge deciding factor for me... The others I found were $30++ (most were in the $50 range) but I got this one for less than $20, including shipping! As I said, my laptop fits perfectly. There are also several pockets to stash stuff in. I don't have to carry books or anything, but there's plenty of room for the power cord, wireless mouse, various flash drives, cd's etc... There's actually more room/pockets than I use! It seems to me that there is plenty of padding to protect my laptop, so far it's done it's job without being too bulky. Plus, it's got a nice, thick shoulder strap which I like. A lot of reviews complained about the color & it is a bit off in the picture, but not enough to bother me... Just a little lighter than the picture represents. Highly recommended!

I love this bag. There's plenty of room for organization. The only reason I gave a 4 stars for ease of use was that although the bag does completely unzip all the way around, it doesn't lay open so when putting the laptop in, you need extra hands to hold the bag open to get the laptop in it's protective place. It takes a little manuvering but not a big deal. Overall I love this bag more than any other I've used! The color is cute and not the usual.

This bag doesn't quite meet all my needs, but I knew that going in. It's comfortable to carry and distributes the weight of my laptop well. So far, I am thinking I made a good investment!

I ordered the bag with Amazon.com, went through several steps, I did not authorize the purchase (the last step), but I did not cancel the order either and left the order window open, my PC was automatically updated by Windows OS. Three days later, the bag was delivered to my door step. The bag is light-weight, I like it, but the color is so pink -- a little light for flamingo pink; so I gave it to my wife to use as her purse/shoulder bag and she likes it.

Don't buy a Dell unless you want to talk to an Indian customer service call center where all they are trained to do is say is: "No! No! No!", they are rude and talk over you, and finally disconnect the call. Don't buy Dell! I will never make that mistake again. This company will not survive- sell the stock if you have any!

i bought my dell 12 in. mini for work. i love it! it's light,small enough to fit in my backpack easily, the screen is bright and the resolution is awesome! if dell can make a mini with a dvd burner/player it would be perfect!!!

Had my Inspiron Mini 12 for a little over 2 weeks when I used it on a flight from Europe to work on a Word Document. Heard a sizzling sound and then the system crashed. Couldn't find hard disk anymore. Then didn't even have video anymore. Called the Dell Tech Support. Horrible experience. The guy wasn't even listening to me. Diagnosed hard disk problem. When the technician came to replace the hard disk, he realized that there was more wrong than that. Called Tech Support again. They started asking me for my personal information again even though I had the case number and everything. After answering questions for 15min, I asked to speak to a manager. Took another 5min of me refusing to answer any other questions until being transferred. Had to send in my laptop. Dell didn't even bother to replace it. Just sent me old one back with some parts replaced. Didn't even set up the laptop to the settings I had ordered. Looked at the Dell Website to write a review. Could not figure out how. However, was able to read other people's reviews and it seems that this problem is quite common. I was a very happy Dell customer before (had a Latitude). I am not happy anymore. Even without the problem, the performance of the laptop was rather disappointing. Expected it to be much faster. Only plus is the light weight.

I ordered this notebook because I thought it would be the perfect solution to fulfull my basic needs such as surfing the web, downloading song, etc. When it first arrived I was surprised by how compact it was and also how cool it looked. When I turned it on, I noticed that the programs seemed quite old... microsoft works, etc. I don't think I've used Works for almost 15 years. But, "oh well" I thought since I'd use my desktop for word processing needs. At first it worked pretty well, but I found it to be very slow and froze a lot. One thing that irked me is that it didn't even have enough power to run my Yahoo! mail upgrade. So, I had to convert back to the "old" mail view because the computer couldn't handle it. Then, an icon appeared asking me if I wanted to upgrade my IE since it appeared the version I was using was old. I thought, 'why not', however, big mistake! The computer was even slower after that and froze constantly. So, I ended up having to return this and I'm real disappointed about that! Was it just me being too impatient? I asked myself that a couple of times, but I really thing the notebook was just a dog. I've been hesitant to purchase another one since I fear they all might be this slow. I did read good reviews about ASUS, so I may give that a try. Hope this was helpful!

My Dell 11.6 inch will not fit into this sleeve. It appears to be a very nice product, but it just will not work for me. I will have to see how much it will cost me to send it back to Amazon. I may just have to eat the $17.31 + $6.17 shipping. I am very disappointed with the inaccurate labeling/details for the product. Guess you can't win them all on Amazon.

I bought this sleeve after reading that it accommodated the slightly larger Toshiba extra-life battery netbooks better than other cases. This is definitely the case. It's a perfectly snug fit, there are two very smooth zippers which make opening and closing a cinch, and the front pocket stretches enough to stuff a power cord and wireless mouse into it without needing to be so neat about it. Not a hard case but I was looking for something that mostly prevented scratches and wear so it's perfect for me.

Well padded sleeve protects the netbook. The zipped pocket on the outside is large enough to fit my external DVD/CD drive. It has a wrist strap, but I wouldn't recommend carrying your netbook by this strap. I believe it is designed to give you added protection while holding the sleeve (in case it gets knocked out of your hand). I am not sure how long the wrist strap would last if you carried your netbook only using it. Great value for the money.

Very pleased with my purchase. While it's really tight, I can get the whole power cord shoved into the extra pocket, but it's not overly bulky. Recommended.

..and with "room-to-spare", for the AC adapter and "mini" optical mouse and even has room for my "waiting-on-Amazon" delivery of an External USB DVD Burner!!
