Overall I am very statisfied with this bag. As the other reviews said the grey color is much lighter then pictured but I don't think it looks bad, the color of my laptop is promise pink and it matches almost perfectly. My laptop seems to be well protected and there is space to store smaller items (pens, calculator, etc.). The only thing I don't really like is I have a dell inspiron 17-1764 (17.3" screen) and it is a snug fit.
I bought this bag for my 17" HP Pavilion Enertainment PC dv7, which fits like a glove. I wanted something not so "business" looking & this one fit the bill. The price was also a huge deciding factor for me... The others I found were $30++ (most were in the $50 range) but I got this one for less than $20, including shipping!
As I said, my laptop fits perfectly. There are also several pockets to stash stuff in. I don't have to carry books or anything, but there's plenty of room for the power cord, wireless mouse, various flash drives, cd's etc... There's actually more room/pockets than I use! It seems to me that there is plenty of padding to protect my laptop, so far it's done it's job without being too bulky. Plus, it's got a nice, thick shoulder strap which I like.
A lot of reviews complained about the color & it is a bit off in the picture, but not enough to bother me... Just a little lighter than the picture represents.

I love this bag. There's plenty of room for organization. The only reason I gave a 4 stars for ease of use was that although the bag does completely unzip all the way around, it doesn't lay open so when putting the laptop in, you need extra hands to hold the bag open to get the laptop in it's protective place. It takes a little manuvering but not a big deal. Overall I love this bag more than any other I've used! The color is cute and not the usual.
This bag doesn't quite meet all my needs, but I knew that going in. It's comfortable to carry and distributes the weight of my laptop well. So far, I am thinking I made a good investment!
I ordered the bag with Amazon.com, went through several steps, I did not authorize the purchase (the last step), but I did not cancel the order either and left the order window open, my PC was automatically updated by Windows OS. Three days later, the bag was delivered to my door step.
The bag is light-weight, I like it, but the color is so pink -- a little light for flamingo pink; so I gave it to my wife to use as her purse/shoulder bag and she likes it.
