New Pink Laptop from Disney

asus_disney_netpal_netbookDisney just announced a new line of laptops that are designed for children.  The machine is basically an Asus netbook, but with a Disney theme.  There is a boy version that is Magic Blue and a girl version that is Princess Pink.  The laptops will have themes such as WALL-E or Hannah Montana.  They are designed for 6 to 12 year olds, so they will also feature shock protection and a spill proff keyboard.

Laptops used to come in drab grays, whites, and blacks. Slowly, silver and platinum colored laptops began to find mainstream acceptance. Shortly after that, colors began to invade the market. Now, you can get a laptop in any color of the spectrum, including pink.

Pink laptops are clearly the most successful colored laptops to find mainstream acceptance in today's market. Marketing for pink laptops has targeted everyone from teenage girls to career oriented women. Not only has the pink laptop revolution reached homes, it has reached workplaces as well. Sony Vaio Pink Laptop Video Review

Here is a video review of the Sony Vaio Pink Laptop.  Well, it's a lot more of a sales pitch than a video review, but they go through all of the features and give you a really good idea of what this pink laptop looks like and what it can do.

These machines are the top of the line; made with the best components and loaded with features.  If you are looking for something cheap that you can take school notes on, then you'd be better off going with a Dell or a Netbook, but if you want some real power, then a Vaio is a great choice.
